How to Hide Your Public IP Address online in just a few seconds!
I recently made a quick tutorial video on how to hide your IP address online so that you can browse anonymously without your internet provider or third parties being able to spy on your activity or track you.

There is basically only one thing you need to do to hide your public IP address online, and that is to get yourself a VPN (aka: virtual private network). Without going into too much geeky detail this is what’s commonly referred to as a ‘proxy’ server.
The way web browsing normally works is as follows: Your IP address is visible by both your internet provider and also the websites you visit + anyone who wishes to spy on the data being sent or received between yourself and those websites (commonly; advertisers, fraudsters and government agencies.)
However, using a VPN, you connect securely using software which establishes an encrypted connection to a proxy server of your choosing. Then the proxy server visits websites on your behalf and retrieves the data, sending it back to you through your encrypted connection. All the while the websites are none-the-wiser and your private data and online activity remains private.

ONE STEP FURTHER
If you want to go one step further to hide your IP address then on top of using the VPN (which you will need to do anyway) you an use TOR browser instead of your normal web browser.
TOR browser will bounce your IP address around a few more servers located around the world before retrieving info from websites. This is mainly used by people who want to be sure they can’t be tracked for downloading torrents of movies and software etc. Just remember you still need to use the VPN in the first place, TOR is just an extra layer.
